The Load Test dashboard does not always show all the desired information. To gain further insight into a site's performance under load it may be useful to query the test database and extract additional information.
- Login to WPM
- From the navigation menu, click "Load Testing > Current Load Tests", or go to the Load Test Dashboard
- Click the desired test from the list on the page
- Click the “Get Test Data” link
- Once clicked, the following message should be displayed at the top of the test: Test data are being loaded, please wait. This usually takes 2-3 minutes
- For multi-region tests first select a location from the Location dropdown list
- Details are only available for 60 minutes, if more time is needed consider Downloading the SQL Database
- When the details are loaded and ready to be queried the message will change to: Test data are ready. You can now run queries by clicking Execute Queries, or one of the numbers in the Cumulative Stats box
- It may be necessary to refresh the page to see the above message and know that details are ready
- Once clicked, the following message should be displayed at the top of the test: Test data are being loaded, please wait. This usually takes 2-3 minutes
- Click the “Execute Queries” link
- A new window will open
- Enter the query into the text field and click “Run SQL Query”
Additional Information:
Immediately after a load test completes the load test details are available for 60 minutes.
No action is required to shutdown the test details once activated, it will shutdown automatically.
For multi-region tests, details will need to be activated for each region.
