Web Performance Management (UltraWPM) default alert policies uses a three-strike rule when alerting. The three-strike rule is triggered when a monitor encounters three strikes consecutively in a row. A strike is an error; a strike can fall into the following error types
- DNS Lookup failure
- Connection timeout
- Connection refused
- Invalid response
- Socket reset
- Socket timeout
- Bad URI
- Script timeout
